By 'standalone' we mean events that are not tasters or modules for one of our courses. 

Standalone events may be offered by one or more BWIS practitioners, or by a specialist in a particular aspect of wellbeing.

Free Mindfulness Taster sessions at Quay Place

On the third Wednesday of each month at 7pm, at Quay Place, Ipswich, we hold our mindfulness 'free for all' event at which people who may be interested in our 8 week mindfulness course can come for a taster and meet with graduates from previous courses.


You can come for taster event that includes a brief presentation, time for Q & A about the 8 week course, and experience some of typical guided mindfulness meditation exercises that we explore in depth during the course.

Mindfulness Day retreats

The Day Retreats coincide with the ending of the 8 week courses; for current course participants it's an opportunity to consolidate learning with sustained periods of continuous practice. Previous course graduates and other folks experienced in the mindfulness perspective are also welcome to join us.
