What we're about
Due to C19 we have moved this group on line and moved to meeting weekly. The group is lightly facilitated by Sue or Steve (sometimes 1 of us sometimes both!) who are also part of the group. There is shared time - so each person is well heard.
We share the time equally between the people who have come along. Everyone who wants to has time to talk and be heard. Time to share what is going on for them. Each person choses what response they want from the other people in the group. Mostly people just listen but you can ask for questions or feedback or comments offered in a gentle non directive way if you wish.
The facilitator will support each person asking from what they need that time.
The Listening Circles that Sue and Steve are part of is the PSN CCi network. It is a community of people who use peer support for themselves and 6each other. It offers Inspiration, Emotional Support, Personal Development, and tools for Action. The training in peer support is in 2 parts. The second part leads to full membership of Co-Counselling International (CCI). More information about CCI at:http://co-counselling.info
