In this session you'll join local professional Storyteller Justine de Mierre for a workshop that introduces the basics of storytelling, helps you find your voice and allows you to have a go at it yourself.
Justine celebrates a quarter of a century as a professional performer this year, and has been a professional storyteller for the last 12 of those. She was a founder and Artistic Director of the East Anglian Storytelling Festival from 2015 to 2018, runs the bi-monthly Tapas ‘n’ Tales night at The Kings Head in Woodbridge and has told stories both locally and nationally including telling at the Cambridge Folk Festival, Folk East, Hay Festival, Edinburgh Book Festival, Bath Literature Festival, Primadonna and The National Centre for The Folk Arts in Somerset. She has taught storytelling to librarians, teachers, performers and most recently prisoners, and loves sharing her skills and knowledge to ensure the art of telling tales survives for may years to come! For more information on Justine and her work you can visit www.sowhatsthestory.co.uk and www.facebook.com/sowhatsthestory for up to date news."
