We are delighted to welcome back our favourite registered Nutritional Therapist, Fiona Mealing, following her previous popular and successful event at Life Lounge a few years ago.
"So much of your wellbeing depends on the functioning of your brain cells, and the production of brain chemicals. Keeping your brain structure in good physical shape is key to improving your mood, memory, cognition and focus.
This evening is about how our digestive tract can have a profound influence on mood and mental functioning. We will look at:
- how poor gut function increases inflammation
- the role of ‘microflora’ and the symptoms caused by imbalance
- gluten and its potential impact on gut health
- the conversation between the gut and the brain.
And there will be practical advice on how to ensure a healthy gut, plus of course anything we do to improve our brain health will have a positive impact on our immunity which all helps to fight off any nasty virus, like Covid 19

Fiona Mealing is a Registered Nutritional Therapist based in Framlingham.
